The current E-Learning environment has students and faculty inundated with a multitude of systems complexly interconnected frustrating users trying to complete everyday tasks.
At the Savannah College of Art and Design, MySCAD serves as a portal to access all the necessary functions to facilitate learning, but with over 100s of labels and no hierarchy, students experienced information overload.
This project aims to improve the entire user experience at MySCAD. The team redesigns the information architecture of MySCAD by reorganizing functions and streamlining cumbersome workflow.
Design Researcher & Visual Lead
Design Research: Planned, conducted, analyzed and reported design research, including primary research, prototyping and usability testing; Delivered actionable research findings to ideation.
Data Visualization: Transformed data and numbers into an enlightening, inspiring and captivating presentation.
Interaction Design: Developed various interface and interaction models of MySCAD.
Graphic Design: Designed the layout of process book & presentation.
